Egypt: Islamic State Claims Cairo Attack

An Egyptian police officer and soldier were killed Jan. 9 by armed men on the outskirts of Cairo in an attack claimed by the Islamic State, Reuters reported. This comes one day after militants carried out a stabbing attack on tourists in the seaside resort of Hurghada.
